Yes, you have read it right! The title of the story is quite apt and clear. The story is about a village and a commons inside that village. The village’s name is “Tataha”, located nearly 19kms away from Barwadih block of Latehar district in Jharkhand. The village surrounded by mountains of Betla National Park is holding inside a mystery yet to be deciphered. The name “Tataha” means a hot water source. Tataha has a Fountain of water which is an exception. The specialty of the fountain is that it is a perennial one and it sprinkles hot water throughout the year.
The water is so hot that one cannot dip his fingers inside it. But if you move merely 15 feet away from the fountain, the water is normal. The fountain is supposed to have medicinal value in it and it holds a great religious importance to the villagers. If somebody has any skin-related problem, then the pahan or local priest makes him bathe in the holy water during the winter, and the disease is supposed to be cured through it.Attachments:
